Sites Like Stake: 5 Alternatives I Tested With Real Money

Stake is the top-rated casino on our site at 7.2/10 (see our Stake review). People still go looking for something similar, usually because Stake’s restricted-country list is long (terms 14.3), or because they want a different originals lobby or rewards model. So I went back through the casinos I’ve tested and picked the five that come closest to what Stake does: crypto-first, with originals, a sportsbook or both in one account.
I deposited $100 in BTC at each one, played at small stakes and withdrew in BTC. Every withdrawal arrived within the casino’s stated timeframe. None of them beat Stake’s overall score under our How We Rate method, but a few beat it in a single category, and that’s what this page is about.
| Casino | Camel Rating | What it shares with Stake | Licence (as on our review) | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stake | 7.2/10 | Benchmark: originals, casino and sportsbook in one account | Curaçao OGL/2024/1451/0918 (renewal assessment in progress) | Visit Stake |
| Duelbits | 7.0/10 | 13 provably fair originals, casino and sportsbook | Curaçao OGL/2024/1507/0838; also Anjouan ALSI-112310013-FI5 | Visit Duelbits |
| Wild.io | 7.0/10 | Large lobby plus sportsbook | Anjouan ALSI-202504044-FI2 (to 20 Apr 2027); Curaçao OGL/2024/210/0198 (assessment in progress) | Read the Wild.io review |
| Shuffle | 6.8/10 | 15,000+ games incl. provably fair originals, sportsbook in the same wallet | Curaçao OGL/2024/1337/0628 | Visit Shuffle |
| Cloudbet | 6.8/10 | Casino, live dealer, provably fair games and sportsbook | Curaçao OGL/2024/328/0599 (term ended 23 May 2026, assessment in progress) | Visit Cloudbet |
| Roobet | 6.4/10 | Crash and originals plus a broad casino lobby | Curaçao OGL/2024/687/0427; also Anjouan ALSI-202507005 | Read the Roobet review |
One rule before you pick: if you’re in a country a casino restricts, don’t use a VPN to get around it. That breaks the terms and can cost you your balance.
1. Duelbits (7.0/10): the closest all-rounder
Where it matches Stake: Licence and safety scored 7.5, the same as Stake. The operator is named (Liquid Entertainment N.V.), it holds a Curaçao licence plus an Anjouan one, and 2FA is available on every account. Like Stake, it runs rakeback and rewards rather than one fixed welcome bonus, and it has 13 provably fair originals next to a sportsbook.
Where it falls short: Games scored 7.5 against Stake’s 8.5. Bonus terms and KYC are still provisional at 6.5 because I haven’t itemised them clause by clause yet. Casino.guru flags two potentially unfair terms and lists 72 complaints. Duplicate accounts risk confiscation, so stick to one. Full detail in the Duelbits review.
2. Wild.io (7.0/10): the higher payout score
Where it beats Stake: Payouts scored 7.5 to Stake’s 7.0. The weekly withdrawal ceiling is high (up to $100,000), and my test withdrawal arrived within the stated timeframe. Games scored 7.5, with a large lobby plus a sportsbook.
Where it falls short: Licence and safety is 6.5. The licensing is layered: the terms name Stack Gaming Ltd. under Anjouan, while the Curaçao certificate is held by Nonce Gaming B.V. and is still under assessment. Bonus terms, KYC and support are all provisional, so confidence in this score is medium-low. If you’d ever need to withdraw more than $100,000 in a week, the cap applies. See the Wild.io review.
3. Shuffle (6.8/10): the biggest lobby
Where it matches Stake: Shuffle lists 15,000+ games including provably fair originals, with the sportsbook in the same account and wallet. Bonus terms scored 7.0, level with Stake, because it uses rakeback, VIP rewards and per-promotion rules instead of a high-wagering match bonus.
Where it falls short: KYC scored 5.5. There’s a public complaint pattern about withdrawals being held pending KYC, Casino.guru gives it a Low Safety Index of 4.8 with 189 complaints, and it’s a young brand (2024). If you pick Shuffle, verify your account before you need to withdraw and keep balances small. More in the Shuffle review, or see my Stake vs Shuffle head-to-head.
4. Cloudbet (6.8/10): the best bonus-terms score
Where it beats Stake: Bonus terms scored 7.5, the highest in this group. Cloudbet runs rakeback and rewards and says there are no rollovers on them. It also states its ID-check trigger up front: once cumulative deposits reach USD 2,200 (terms 18.1.5). You get casino, live dealer and a sportsbook in one account.
Where it falls short: Licence and safety is capped at 6.0. The licence is still listed as active, but the register term ended on 23 May 2026 and shows “assessment in progress”. The terms also reserve the right to charge up to 5% on deposits and withdrawals, unverified accounts face a daily withdrawal limit, and an account can be closed if KYC isn’t finished in the time given (11.1(v)). See the Cloudbet review.
5. Roobet (6.4/10): for crash and originals
Where it matches Stake: Each deposit must be wagered 1x before withdrawal, the same basic rule as Stake, and Roobet charges no withdrawal fee of its own (network fee only). Games scored 7.5 for crash, originals and a broad lobby. Licence and safety is 7.0: Raw Entertainment B.V. is named, and the Curaçao licence is active.
Where it falls short: Bonus terms scored 5.0 because a “low-risk play” clause can void winnings, and that’s a vague test the casino decides. Complaints cluster around large withdrawals and source-of-funds checks, so have documents ready before you play big. See the Roobet review or my Stake vs Roobet comparison.
Ones I wouldn’t use as a Stake alternative
Thunderpick (4.9/10) has the esports markets, but its terms zero dormant balances after 12 months and many complaints go unresolved. Gamdom often comes up as a Stake alternative too. I don’t rank or recommend it: its Curaçao licence shows as revoked on the register. Vave and Betplay.io aren’t ranked either. Their reviews explain why.
My verdict
If Stake is open to you and you’re happy with it, it’s still my top score at 7.2. If you want the closest all-round match, Duelbits ties Stake on licence and safety. If the withdrawal ceiling matters most, Wild.io scored higher on payouts. If you mostly care about rewards without rollover, Cloudbet has the best bonus-terms score here, as long as you accept the licence caveat. Whichever you choose, finish verification before you deposit anything sizeable.
FAQ
What’s the best alternative to Stake?
On our scores, Duelbits and Wild.io are joint closest at 7.0/10, just behind Stake’s 7.2. They win in different places: Duelbits on licence and safety, Wild.io on payouts.
Is there a site like Stake with lower bonus wagering?
Stake itself has no fixed welcome bonus, just per-promotion rules. Of the alternatives, Cloudbet says its rewards have no rollover, and Shuffle uses rakeback and VIP rewards. I compare every casino’s bonus terms in low-wagering crypto casino bonuses.
Did you really test these with real money?
Yes. Each one got a $100 BTC deposit, small-stakes play and a BTC withdrawal, and each withdrawal arrived within the casino’s stated timeframe. It’s one test per casino, not a guarantee of how yours will go.
