Metaspins paid my $100 BTC test withdrawal within its stated timeframe and scores 6.6/10 under our How We Rate method. It’s a reasonable fit for crypto slot players who want a newer site. But its score comes with a warning I don’t attach to many casinos: confidence is low, because four of its six categories are still provisional.

Why people look past Metaspins

  • The licence is new. Its terms now name a Costa Rica company, 3-102-959384 SRL, under Anjouan licence ALSI-202606048-FI2, issued 30 Jun 2026. The earlier Curaçao licence (OGL/2024/1063/0437, Metaspins N.V.) is no longer the site licence, so the record under the new one is short. It scores 6.0 for licence and safety.
  • The scorecard is thin. Bonus terms, games, KYC and support each sit at a neutral provisional 6.5 because I haven’t read or tested them yet.
  • Mixed public signals. Casino.guru gives a very high Safety Index (9.3) and lists 33 complaints, but its Trustpilot rating is low.

BitStarz (6.8/10): the closest slot match with a long record

BitStarz has run since 2014 with over 6,000 games, including slots, live dealer tables and its own originals. Gareton B.V. is the named operator, the Curaçao licence is active on the CGA certificate portal, and it charges no withdrawal fee on its side or its processor’s (terms 8.7.10). The weak spot is the bonus: 40x wagering in 7 days, a 5-unit max bet and a clause (9.4.6) that lets it void winnings on vague grounds, which caps its bonus score at 5.0. Dormant accounts are charged at least €5 a month after 6 months (13.1).

mBit Casino (6.7/10): crypto-only, like-for-like on coins

mBit Casino is a long-running crypto-only casino with low minimum deposits across 9 coins (from 0.0001 BTC or 10 USDT, terms 3.5). Scores55 Tech B.V. holds Curaçao licence OGL/2024/1307/0748, active on the CGA portal, and it has a low complaint count for its size (52 on Casino.guru). Withdrawals are capped at 3 BTC per 7 days and 10 BTC per 30 days, table games count 0% toward bonus wagering (9.8), and deposits need 1x wagering on slots or 10x on other games before you can cash out. Medium confidence

Stake (7.2/10): the higher score, if you want originals too

Stake is our top score. It has a large provably fair originals range, a casino lobby and a sportsbook in one account, and disputes can go to CADRE, a CGA-certified ADR body (terms 23.3). Each deposit must be wagered 1x before withdrawal (8.5, 8.10), KYC can be requested at any time (4.8, 8.1, 8.12), and its restricted-country list is long (14.3).

Shuffle (6.8/10): the largest stated game count on my reviews

Shuffle lists 15,000+ games including provably fair originals, with a sportsbook in the same wallet and per-promotion rakeback and VIP rewards rather than one big match bonus. Natural Nine B.V. holds OGL/2024/1337/0628, listed on the Curaçao register. It’s a young brand (established 2024), and there’s a public complaint pattern of slow KYC holding withdrawals, so I’d keep balances small.

Medium-low confidence: the like-for-like swap

Wild.io (7.0/10): another newer Anjouan casino, scored higher

Wild.io is the closest match in profile: a newer site whose main licence is Anjouan (ALSI-202504044-FI2, valid to 20 Apr 2027), with a Curaçao licence still under assessment. It scores higher than Metaspins, at 7.0, mainly on payouts (7.5) and games (7.5), and its weekly withdrawal ceiling is up to $100,000. Sideways, not up: Moonbet

Moonbet looks similar on paper, with a Costa Rica company under an Anjouan licence, but it scores lower at 5.8/10. Monthly withdrawals are capped at €10,000, or €5,000 if your balance reaches 10x your deposits (8.6), and an 8% fee applies if your deposit wasn’t wagered at least 1x (8.2). I wouldn’t switch to it from Metaspins.

Not recommended

Thunderpick scores 4.9/10 because balances are zeroed after 12 months of inactivity and low-risk play can void winnings. Gamdom, Vave and Betplay.io each score 4.0/10 because of licence problems: an expired or revoked licence, a licence covering a different domain, and no licence found. I don’t rank any of them.

Should you switch?

If you’re happy at Metaspins, you don’t have to. Its test withdrawal went through.
