Sites Like Moonbet: 5 Tested Alternatives, Checked Against Its Four Problem Clauses

Moonbet paid my $100 BTC test withdrawal within its stated timeframe, it names its operator and licence in its terms, and there is no withdrawal fee once your deposit has been wagered once. It still scores only 5.8/10 under our How We Rate method, and the reasons are four specific clauses rather than anything that went wrong in my test. If you are looking for a site like Moonbet, the useful question is which of those four you want to get away from.

One note before the list: my review covers moonbet.co. Moon.bet and Moonbet.io appear to be separate sites, and review sites disagree sharply about “Moonbet” partly for that reason. Everything here is about moonbet.co.

Moonbet’s four problem clauses

  1. The monthly cap that shrinks after a win. Withdrawals are capped at EUR 10,000 a month, dropping to EUR 5,000 a month if your balance reaches 10x your total deposits (terms 8.6). The bigger your win relative to your deposits, the slower it comes out.
  2. The fee on unplayed deposits. Withdraw a deposit you haven’t wagered at least once and you pay 8%, minimum EUR 4 (8.2).
  3. Thin recourse. Total liability is capped at your stake or EUR 500, whichever is lower (14.2), and bet disputes must be raised within 3 days of settlement (21.4).
  4. A licence you have to check yourself. The terms name an Anjouan licence and a numbered Costa Rica SRL, but the licence number only shows up via a third-party register tracker, issued 15 May 2026.

“Not documented on my review” means I haven’t recorded the rule, not that the casino has none. In particular, I haven’t seen a liability cap like Moonbet’s in the terms I recorded for the others, but I can’t say none exists. All six paid my $100 BTC test withdrawal within the casino’s stated timeframe.

Pick by the clause that bothers you

If it’s the cap

Wild.io’s ceiling is weekly and goes up to $100,000. mBit allows 3 BTC a week and 10 BTC a month. BitStarz has no weekly cap on my review, though substantial wins may come in monthly instalments. None of them has a rule that tightens the cap after a big win the way Moonbet’s does, on the terms I recorded. For a full table of caps see crypto casino withdrawal limits compared.

If it’s the 8% fee

Be careful what you wish for here. Most casinos don’t charge for withdrawing an unplayed deposit because they don’t allow it: Stake and Roobet require a deposit to be wagered 1x first, mBit 1x on slots and 10x on other games, and Mirax 3x. Moonbet’s rule is the same idea with a fee attached instead of a block. If you play your deposit through once, Moonbet charges no withdrawal fee either. BitStarz is the cleanest on fees on paper: no casino or processor withdrawal fees (8.7.10).

If it’s recourse

Stake is the clear answer: its terms let disputes go to CADRE, a CGA-certified ADR body (23.3), and it holds a CGA licence. BitStarz names Curaçao arbitration (17.1) with a 6-month claim limit (15.1), far longer than Moonbet’s 3 days. Duelbits holds both a CGA and an Anjouan licence under a named operator.

If it’s the licence

BitStarz and mBit have licences I checked as active on the CGA portal. Duelbits pairs a CGA licence with Anjouan. Wild.io is also Anjouan-first, but its licence number and expiry (20 Apr 2027) are on my review, not just on a third-party tracker. Stake’s certificate reads Active with renewal assessment in progress.

The five alternatives

Stake (7.2/10)

  • Fixes: recourse (CADRE ADR) and the licence question; the highest score I have given.
  • Doesn’t fix, or adds: KYC can be requested at any time and withdrawals can be held during an investigation without explanation (8.2). Roughly 380 Casino.guru complaints, to be read against its size. Long restricted-country list (14.3).

Visit Stake Read my Stake review

Duelbits (7.0/10)

  • Fixes: the licence question, with two licences under a named operator; no withdrawal-limit or fee issues on my review; 2FA on all accounts.
  • Doesn’t fix, or adds: three of six categories are provisional (confidence Medium-low), and Casino.guru flags two potentially unfair terms. One account per person, with duplicates risking confiscation.

Visit Duelbits Read my Duelbits review

Wild.io (7.0/10)

  • Fixes: the cap, most directly: weekly ceiling up to $100,000; payouts score 7.5. Small deposits per coin, e.g. 5 USDT.
  • Doesn’t fix, or adds: its Curaçao licence is still under assessment and two different entities are named. Its welcome offer has its own wagering rules that I haven’t itemised.

BitStarz (6.8/10)

  • Fixes: fees (none from the casino or processor) and recourse (6-month claim limit instead of 3 days); licence verified active; running since 2014.
  • Doesn’t fix, or adds: its bonus is the catch: 40x in 7 days and a discretionary void clause (9.4.6), so play without it. Dormant accounts (6 months) are charged at least EUR 5 a month (13.1).

Visit BitStarz Read my BitStarz review

mBit Casino (6.7/10)

  • Fixes: the cap (3 BTC a week) and the licence question, with a strong public record: 52 Casino.guru complaints, AskGamblers 8.3/10, Trustpilot 4.4/5.
  • Doesn’t fix, or adds: deposits need 10x wagering on non-slot games before they are cashable, table games count 0% toward bonus wagering (9.8), and large wins can be paid in 10 monthly instalments.

Sideways moves and non-fixes

  • Roobet (6.4/10) charges no withdrawal fee of its own (network fee only) and holds CGA and Anjouan licences. But complaints cluster around large withdrawals and source-of-funds holds, the situation a Moonbet cap worries people about, and its terms let “low-risk play” void winnings.
  • Metaspins (6.6/10) has the same shape as Moonbet: a numbered Costa Rica SRL (3-102-959384 SRL) under an Anjouan licence issued on 30 Jun 2026. It scores higher, but if the licence is what put you off Moonbet it isn’t a fix, and its score confidence is LOW.
  • 7Bit Casino (5.9/10) has a much better public record, but its cap is tighter: 0.12 BTC a week and 0.48 BTC a month (9.10-9.11).
  • Thunderpick (4.9/10) zeroes balances after 12 months of inactivity. Not recommended.
  • Gamdom, Vave and Betplay.io are capped at 4.0/10 because I couldn’t confirm a valid licence for them. I don’t recommend them.

If you stay at Moonbet

My review says it suits experienced crypto players making small deposits who check licence details themselves, and that is how I would use it: wager each deposit once before cashing out to avoid the 8% fee, withdraw winnings well before they approach the monthly cap, check your bet history after every session because of the 3-day dispute window, and never keep more on site than you could accept losing under a EUR 500 liability cap.

FAQ

Is Moonbet legit?

The terms name its operator and an Anjouan licence. My real-money withdrawal was paid. Its caps, deposit fee and liability cap keep my score at 5.8/10.

What is the best alternative to Moonbet?

It depends on the clause. For higher withdrawal ceilings, Wild.io or mBit; for an independent dispute route, Stake; for no casino withdrawal fees, BitStarz. Stake has the highest score of the five (7.2/10).

Does Moonbet charge withdrawal fees?

Only if the deposit was not wagered at least once. Then it charges 8%, minimum EUR 4 (8.2).
