Crypto Casino Complaint Records Compared: 15 Sites I Tested, and Why the Cleanest Record Isn’t the Top Score

“Is it legit?” is usually the question behind a search for a casino’s complaints. A real-money test answers part of it: every casino on this page paid my $100 BTC test withdrawal within its stated timeframe. What one test can’t show is how a casino treats players when something goes wrong, at bigger amounts, over years. That is what public complaint records are for, so I have put everything my reviews hold on them in one place.
One rule first. I don’t rank casinos by other sites’ numbers. The Camel Rating comes only from our own How We Rate method: payouts, licence, bonus terms, games, KYC and support. I use complaint records as evidence of how a casino’s terms are applied in practice, and they can pull a category score down. The table below is ordered by our score, not by anyone’s Safety Index.
The public record, casino by casino
| Casino (our score) | Casino.guru | AskGamblers | Trustpilot | Recurring themes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stake (7.2) | Above-average Safety Index (7.9); roughly 380 complaints in total, read against its size | Not on my review | 3.8/5 from about 15,000 reviews, with a “regulatory attention” notice | One forum complaint: a referral bonus with very high rollover applied without opting in |
| Duelbits (7.0) | Above-average Safety Index (7.5); two potentially unfair terms flagged; 72 complaints | Not on my review | Not on my review | Not itemised on my review |
| Wild.io (7.0) | Safety Index rated “High” | Not on my review | Not on my review | Mainly withdrawal reviews |
| BitStarz (6.8) | Not yet compiled | Not yet compiled | Not yet compiled | Not yet compiled |
| Shuffle (6.8) | Low Safety Index (4.8); “bad” complaints ratio, 189 in total; no unfair terms found | 5.2/10; 74 complaints, mostly payments, most resolved | Rating hidden after fake reviews were removed | Withdrawal holds and slow KYC |
| Cloudbet (6.8) | Not yet compiled | Not yet compiled | Not yet compiled | Account reviews and verification holds before withdrawal |
| mBit Casino (6.7) | 52 complaints in total; “Mixed” user rating from 32 reviews; one term flagged as potentially unfair | Player rating 8.3/10 from 165 reviews | 4.4/5 from 424 reviews (mbitcasino.io) | Negative reviews mention removed bonus money and games that stopped mid-session |
| Metaspins (6.6) | Very high Safety Index (9.3); 33 complaints | Not on my review | Low | Not itemised on my review |
| Roobet (6.4) | Above-average Safety Index (7.9); about 177 complaints all-time, mostly rejected | Rates it far lower | Unreliable after the profile was flagged for fake reviews | Delayed withdrawals, confiscations, source-of-funds holds |
| BetFury (6.3) | Not yet compiled | Not yet compiled | Not yet compiled | Verification requests and withdrawal holds |
| KatsuBet (6.1) | Not yet compiled | Not yet compiled | Not yet compiled | Not yet compiled |
| 7Bit Casino (5.9) | Very high Safety Index (9.5); 102 complaints, “very good” ratio; no unfair terms found | Player rating 7.7/10 from 260 reviews | 4.3/5 from about 1,900 reviews; the company replies to negative reviews | Not itemised on my review |
| Mirax Casino (5.8) | Not yet compiled | Not yet compiled | Not yet compiled | Not yet compiled |
| Moonbet (5.8) | “Moon.bet” profile: very low Safety Index (2.9), listed as unlicensed; may be a different brand from moonbet.co | Not on my review | 3.6/5 from 47 reviews (moonbet.io); no company replies to negative ones | One reviewer describes winnings being withheld |
| Thunderpick (4.9) | Very low Safety Index (2.9); terms rated unfair; about 22 complaints, half unresolved | 1 of 10 complaints resolved | Around 2.7/5 | Unresolved complaints; reportedly doesn’t engage with complaint sites |
“Not on my review” means my review doesn’t quote that source; “not yet compiled” means I haven’t gathered that casino’s complaint record yet. Figures are as quoted on each review, so check the source sites for today’s numbers.
Three things the table shows
1. A clean record doesn’t mean a high score
7Bit Casino has the cleanest record I hold: a Casino.guru Safety Index of 9.5, a “very good” complaints ratio and a company that answers negative Trustpilot reviews. It still scores 5.9, because its terms cap withdrawals at 0.12 BTC a week and 0.48 BTC a month, with larger balances paid in instalments (terms 9.10-9.11). A low complaint count can’t tell you how a casino handles a big win that its caps would split into instalments. The reverse holds for Shuffle: a Low Safety Index of 4.8, yet 6.8/10 from us, because its licence checks out, its terms are clean on my reading and my withdrawal was paid. Its record still costs it: Shuffle’s payout score is 6.5 and its KYC score 5.5 because of the withdrawal-hold pattern.
2. Raw complaint counts need context
Stake‘s roughly 380 Casino.guru complaints look alarming next to mBit‘s 52, but Stake is far bigger, and Casino.guru still gives it an above-average Safety Index (7.9). Look at the ratio and the share resolved, not the total. Thunderpick has only about 22 complaints, but half are unresolved, and AskGamblers shows 1 of 10 resolved. That is the worse sign.
3. Some numbers aren’t reliable
Shuffle’s Trustpilot rating is hidden after fake reviews were removed, and Roobet‘s Trustpilot figures are unreliable after its profile was flagged for fake reviews. With Moonbet, the low Casino.guru score belongs to a “Moon.bet” profile that may be a different site from moonbet.co, which is the one I tested. Several similarly named sites exist. Always check that a complaint profile is for the exact domain you plan to use.
Where complaints match the fine print
The most useful complaints are the ones that line up with a clause in the terms, because they show the clause being used. These are the matches in my reviews:
| Casino | What players report | The matching rule or score |
|---|---|---|
| Roobet | Source-of-funds holds on big withdrawals | KYC & account scored 5.5; terms also let low-risk play void winnings |
| Shuffle | Withdrawal holds pending KYC | KYC & account scored 5.5; payouts 6.5 |
| Cloudbet | Account reviews and verification holds | ID required once deposits reach USD 2,200, documents can be requested any time and funds may be locked pending checks (18.1.5) |
| BetFury | Verification requests and withdrawal holds | Withdrawals can take 7 days or more for anti-fraud checks (9.1); KYC up to 30 days (17.2) |
| Stake | Large complaint volume | KYC can be requested at any time and withdrawals held during an investigation without explanation (8.2) |
| Thunderpick | Unresolved complaints, little engagement | Licence & safety scored 4.0; balances zeroed after 12 months of inactivity |
The practical advice is the same in every case: verify your account before you need to withdraw, and have documents ready before a large withdrawal.
If a clean public record matters most to you
These four have the strongest records among the casinos I have tested, listed in Camel Rating order. Each one has a catch that the record doesn’t show.
1. Wild.io (7.0/10)
The record: Casino.guru rates its Safety Index “High”, and complaints mainly concern withdrawal reviews.
What the record doesn’t cover: withdrawals are capped weekly (up to $100,000), its Curaçao licence is still under assessment, and the score carries a Medium-low confidence rating because three categories are provisional.
2. mBit Casino (6.7/10)
The record: 52 Casino.guru complaints, low for its size, an AskGamblers player rating of 8.3/10 from 165 reviews and 4.4/5 on Trustpilot.
What the record doesn’t cover: withdrawal caps of 3 BTC a week and 10 BTC a month, and deposits need 10x wagering on non-slot games before they are cashable (terms 9).
3. Metaspins (6.6/10)
The record: a very high Casino.guru Safety Index (9.3) and 33 complaints, though its Trustpilot rating is low.
What the record doesn’t cover: its Anjouan licence was only issued on 30 Jun 2026, replacing a Curaçao one, and four of six categories are provisional, so our confidence is LOW.
4. 7Bit Casino (5.9/10)
The record: the best record I hold: Safety Index 9.5, a “very good” complaints ratio, AskGamblers 7.7/10 and 4.3/5 on Trustpilot with company replies.
What the record doesn’t cover: the tightest withdrawal caps of the four (0.12 BTC a week, 0.48 BTC a month) and an operator and licence that vary by region.

Gaps in my own records
I haven’t compiled complaint records for BitStarz, KatsuBet or Mirax Casino, and for Cloudbet and BetFury I only note the recurring themes. Until I do, their scores rest on my real-money test and my read of the terms.
Records that come with a warning
- Gamdom (4.0/10, capped): Casino.guru lists about 89 complaints in total (most rejected, 3 unresolved), including confiscated winnings, a large account-closure dispute and an account reopened despite self-exclusion. Its Curaçao licence shows Expired on the register and “Revoked” on the regulator’s verification page.
- Vave (4.0/10): very low Safety Index (2.3), terms rated unfair and 77 complaints. I couldn’t verify a licence covering vave.com.
- Betplay.io (4.0/10): very low Safety Index (2.6) and formal complaints listed. I found no Curaçao or Anjouan licence.
I don’t recommend any of these three. Without a licence I can confirm, there is no recognised regulator to complain to.
How I check a complaint record
- Match the domain. Make sure the profile is for the exact site you will use.
- Read the ratio and the unresolved share, not the total.
- Look for repeated themes, then find the clause behind them in the terms.
- Check whether the casino replies to complaints at all.
- Treat any review platform flagged for fake reviews as unreliable.
FAQ
Which tested crypto casino has the fewest complaints?
Of the complaint counts my reviews quote, Thunderpick has the lowest raw count (about 22), but half are unresolved, so it is the worst sign on this page. Metaspins (33) and mBit (52) have low counts with good ratings.
Do complaint records change your scores?
They can pull a category down when they show a rule being applied against players, as with Shuffle and Roobet. We don’t copy other sites’ scores into ours.
Is a casino with lots of complaints a scam?
Not necessarily. Large casinos collect more complaints. Look at the ratio, how many are resolved and whether the themes match a clause in the terms.
