BitStarz and mBit Casino get compared a lot, and it’s easy to see why. Both are long-running, slot-led crypto casinos, both hold a Curaçao licence with a named operator, and both paid my $100 BTC test withdrawal within their stated timeframe. Under our How We Rate method, BitStarz scores 6.8/10 and mBit 6.7/10.
They’re also two of the most fully documented scores I have: both carry a High confidence rating, and only support is still provisional on each. So rather than argue about provisional numbers, this page goes round by round through the things you’ll actually run into: the cashier, the bonus rules, ID checks, the licence and the lobby. Everything comes from my BitStarz review and mBit Casino review.
Short answer
BitStarz suits you if you want the bigger lobby and no casino-side withdrawal fees, and you can ignore its welcome bonus. mBit suits a crypto-only player making smaller deposits across several coins who is happy with weekly withdrawal caps. If you play table games, read the deposit-wagering rules on both before you deposit.
The scorecard
| Category | Weight | BitStarz | mBit Casino | Higher score |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Payouts | 30% | 7.5 | 7.0 | BitStarz |
| Licence & safety | 20% | 6.5 | 7.0 | mBit |
| Bonus terms | 15% | 5.0 (capped) | 6.0 | mBit |
| Games | 15% | 8.0 | 7.0 | BitStarz |
| KYC & account | 10% | 6.5 | 5.5 | BitStarz |
| Support | 10% | 6.5 (provisional) | 6.5 (provisional) | Level |
| Overall | 6.8/10 (6.80) | 6.7/10 (6.65) | BitStarz |
BitStarz wins three categories (payouts, games, KYC) and mBit wins two (licence and safety, bonus terms). Weighted, BitStarz is 6.80 and mBit 6.65, a gap of 0.15 before rounding. The biggest single swing is BitStarz’s bonus score, which our method caps at 5.0 because of a discretionary void clause.
Round 1: the cashier
| BitStarz | mBit Casino | |
|---|---|---|
| Withdrawal fees | None charged by BitStarz or its processor (terms 8.7.10); your bank or the network may charge | Not listed on my review |
| Withdrawal caps | No weekly cap on my review; substantial wins may be paid in monthly instalments (8.7.3) | 3 BTC per 7 days and 10 BTC per 30 days, unless otherwise specified; large wins can be paid in 10 monthly instalments |
| Big-win checks | Significant wins (at BitStarz’s discretion) verified with the game provider (8.7.8) | Extra checks for payouts over 1 BTC, and possibly at lower amounts (9.3, 9.11) |
| Before you can cash out a deposit | Real money is used before bonus funds; withdrawing the deposit before wagering is done forfeits the bonus and its winnings (8.2) | 1x wagering on slots, 10x on other games (terms 9) |
| Coins | Major cryptocurrencies (e.g. BTC, ETH, LTC) and some fiat options | Crypto only: BTC, BCH, ETH, LTC, XRP, USDT, TRX, BNB, ADA; no in-site currency exchange (3.4) |
| Min deposit | See the cashier | 0.0001 BTC, 0.002 ETH, 0.14 LTC, 10 USDT and others (3.5) |
| My $100 BTC test | Arrived within the stated timeframe; no ID requested, no BitStarz fee | Arrived within the stated timeframe (confirmed 15 Oct 2026) |
This is where the two feel most different. BitStarz doesn’t list a weekly cap on my review and charges no withdrawal fee itself, which is a big part of its 7.5 for payouts. Its terms only commit to "try" to pay within 1 hour (8.7.1), though, and bank transfers can take up to 10 banking days (8.7.7). mBit publishes hard caps of 3 BTC a week and 10 BTC a month. Those are generous for most players, but a large win would come out over weeks or months, and it scores 7.0.

Round 2: the bonus rules
| BitStarz | mBit Casino | |
|---|---|---|
| Wagering | 40x bonus (bonus terms 3.4) | Varies by offer, shown when you get the bonus (9.8) |
| Time limit | Welcome package bonuses valid for 7 days (3.7) | Not listed on my review |
| Max bet with a bonus | 5 EUR/USD or 0.00006 BTC, including double-ups and bonus buys (3.10) | Not listed on my review |
| Table and live games | Typically count 5%; more games can be excluded at the casino’s discretion (3.5) | Video poker, roulette, blackjack and other table games count 0% (9.8) |
| Cashing out mid-bonus | Withdrawing your deposit early forfeits the bonus and its winnings (8.2) | Withdrawing before wagering is complete forfeits the bonus and its winnings (9.8) |
| Other traps | Bonuses and winnings can be voided for "any other actions which may damage the Casino" (9.4.6, 9.10) | Saving bonus rounds or free spins until wagering is done voids the bonus (5.3) |
Neither bonus is built for table players. BitStarz counts table and live games at 5%, which turns 40x into something like 800x on blackjack, and mBit counts them at 0%. BitStarz’s welcome package also has to be cleared within 7 days with a 5-unit max bet, and clause 9.4.6 lets it void winnings on vague grounds. That’s what triggers our cap at 5.0. mBit’s rules are stricter in places (saving bonus rounds voids the bonus), but I found no discretionary void clause on my review, so it scores 6.0.
If you want BitStarz’s no-deposit offer, our code CAMEL50 gives 50 no-deposit free spins, 40x wagering, max win 100. T&Cs apply. For bonuses with lighter wagering elsewhere, see low-wagering crypto casino bonuses compared.
Round 2 to mBit.
Round 3: ID checks
BitStarz can ask for ID, proof of address and payment, and even a phone call, on deposit or withdrawal (terms 7, 8.7.4, 8.7.11). In my October 2026 test, no ID was requested for a $100 BTC deposit and withdrawal. mBit runs extra checks on payouts over 1 BTC, and possibly at lower amounts, which can include a selfie or video call (9.3, 9.11). It also requires deposits to be wagered 1x on slots or 10x on other games before you can cash them out, and that’s part of why it scores 5.5 here against BitStarz’s 6.5.
Round 3 to BitStarz. Have documents ready at either one before a bigger withdrawal.
Round 4: licence and safety
Both are Curaçao-licensed with a named operator. BitStarz is run by Gareton B.V. under OGL/2024/165/0185, active on the CGA certificate portal, licensed since 8 Jul 2024, with bitstarz.com an approved domain. Its terms send disputes to Curaçao arbitration (17.1), set a 6-month limit on claims (15.1) and charge dormant accounts at least €5 a month after 6 months (13.1). It scores 6.5.
mBit is run by Scores55 Tech B.V. under OGL/2024/1307/0748, shown as active on the CGA certificate portal when I checked on 14 Oct 2026. It scores 7.0. The same licence number appears on KatsuBet and Mirax Casino, which I cover in best Curaçao-licensed crypto casinos.
Round 4 to mBit.
Round 5: games
BitStarz has over 6,000 games from many providers, covering slots, live dealer tables and its own originals, and it’s been running since 2014. It scores 8.0. mBit’s lobby is crypto-only across 9 coins, and you play in the coin you deposit because there’s no in-site currency exchange (3.4). It scores 7.0. If you hold several coins and like to keep them separate, that’s a plus for mBit. If you want the widest choice, it’s BitStarz.
Round 5 to BitStarz.
Support and the public record
Support is level at a provisional 6.5 because I haven’t tested either yet. BitStarz says it offers 24/7 live chat and email (12.2), and mBit offers email and live chat with "24/7" in its footer. On the public record, mBit has a low complaint count for its size: 52 on Casino.guru, an AskGamblers player rating of 8.3/10 from 165 reviews and 4.4/5 on Trustpilot from 424 reviews, where negative reviews mention removed bonus money and games stopping mid-session.
Which should you pick?
- Pick BitStarz if you want the bigger lobby, no casino withdrawal fees and no weekly cap on my review, and you’ll skip or carefully manage the welcome bonus.
- Pick mBit if you play in several coins with small deposits, prefer bonus terms without a discretionary void clause, and the 3 BTC weekly cap won’t bother you.
- Think twice about both if you mainly play table or live games with bonus money, because neither counts them properly toward wagering.

My verdict
BitStarz edges it, 6.8 to 6.7, on the strength of its cashier and its lobby. mBit wins on the licence check and on fairer bonus rules, so the gap is about what you value, not a clear better and worse.
