Wild.io and Stake are close on paper. Both put a casino lobby and a sportsbook in one account, both paid my $100 BTC test withdrawal within their stated timeframe, and only 0.2 points separate them under our How We Rate method: Stake 7.2/10, Wild.io 7.0/10.
A gap that small can hide a lot, so this comparison works backwards from it. I show where each fraction of a point comes from, how much of each score rests on categories I haven’t fully tested yet, and then the facts behind each category. Everything here comes from my Wild.io review and Stake review.
Short answer
Stake is the safer-documented pick: a named operator, a dispute route through CADRE, a bigger originals range and only one provisional category. Wild.io scored higher on payouts in my test and publishes a weekly withdrawal ceiling of up to $100,000, but its licensing is layered and half its scorecard is still provisional.
The scorecard
| Category | Weight | Wild.io | Stake | Higher score |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Payouts | 30% | 7.5 | 7.0 | Wild.io |
| Licence & safety | 20% | 6.5 | 7.5 | Stake |
| Bonus terms | 15% | 6.5 (provisional) | 7.0 | Stake |
| Games | 15% | 7.5 | 8.5 | Stake |
| KYC & account | 10% | 6.5 (provisional) | 6.0 | Wild.io (provisional) |
| Support | 10% | 6.5 (provisional) | 6.5 (provisional) | Level |
| Overall | 7.0/10 (6.95) | 7.2/10 (7.17) | Stake |
Stake leads on three categories, Wild.io on two, and support is level because neither has been tested yet. Wild.io’s KYC lead comes from a neutral provisional score, not a documented rule, so I wouldn’t lean on it.
Where Stake’s 0.2-point lead comes from
Each category score is multiplied by its weight. This is the same arithmetic as on both reviews, shown per category (rounded to two decimals):
| Category | Wild.io points | Stake points | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Payouts | 2.25 | 2.10 | Wild.io +0.15 |
| Licence & safety | 1.30 | 1.50 | Stake +0.20 |
| Bonus terms | 0.98 | 1.05 | Stake +0.08 |
| Games | 1.13 | 1.28 | Stake +0.15 |
| KYC & account | 0.65 | 0.60 | Wild.io +0.05 |
| Support | 0.65 | 0.65 | Level |
Stake’s lead is built from licence and safety (+0.20), games (+0.15) and bonus terms (+0.08). Wild.io claws back +0.15 on payouts and +0.05 on KYC. Net, Stake finishes about 0.22 ahead before rounding (7.17 against 6.95).
How much of each score is still provisional
This is the part I’d weigh most. On Wild.io, bonus terms, KYC and support are all provisional. Together they carry 35% of the total weight. On Stake, only support is provisional, at 10%. That’s why my confidence rating is Medium for Stake and Medium-low for Wild.io. "Provisional" means I haven’t fully tested or documented that category yet. Our method gives those a neutral 6.5, and the score moves when I do. Wild.io’s 7.0 is more likely to change than Stake’s 7.2, in either direction.

Licences: one regulator against two
Stake is operated by Medium Rare N.V. under Curaçao licence OGL/2024/1451/0918. The certificate reads Active and the register lists a renewal assessment in progress (checked 14 Oct 2026). Its terms also give a dispute route to CADRE (23.3), which is why it scores 7.5 for licence and safety.
Wild.io holds Anjouan licence ALSI-202504044-FI2, valid to 20 Apr 2027, plus a Curaçao licence, OGL/2024/210/0198, that is still under assessment. Its terms name Stack Gaming Ltd., while the Curaçao certificate is held by Nonce Gaming B.V. Two different companies on one brand is something I mark down, and it scores 6.5 here. Neither site’s Curaçao status is fully settled, so check both registers again before a large deposit.
Withdrawals: different kinds of limit
Both $100 BTC test withdrawals arrived within the casino’s stated timeframe. The rules around them differ. Wild.io caps withdrawals weekly, at up to $100,000, so a very large win would be paid over several weeks. Stake doesn’t publish one cap on my review (limits are shown in the wallet), but each deposit must be wagered 1x before you can withdraw (8.5, 8.10), and withdrawals can be held during an investigation without explanation (8.2). Wild.io scores 7.5 for payouts and Stake 7.0.
Bonuses: per-promotion rules against a welcome offer
Stake doesn’t publish a fixed welcome bonus. Reloads, rakeback, races and coupons each carry their own rules (12.3), unclaimed bonuses can lapse after 60 days or the claim period (12.10), and Stake can cancel any bonus at its discretion (12.11). I found no clause that voids winnings at its discretion, and it scores 7.0.
Wild.io’s welcome offer has its own wagering and minimum-deposit rules, but I haven’t itemised them clause by clause yet. That’s why it sits at a provisional 6.5. If you want the bonus, read Wild.io’s current bonus terms before you opt in.
Games and sportsbook
Both have a sportsbook in the same account as the casino. Stake scores 8.5 for its large provably fair originals range plus casino lobby. Wild.io scores 7.5 for its large lobby. If you mostly play originals, Stake has the edge. For slots and sports, they’re closer than the scores suggest.
KYC and where you can play
Stake’s terms let it ask for KYC at any time and hold withdrawals until you’re verified (4.8, 8.1, 8.12), which scores 6.0. Wild.io’s KYC triggers aren’t documented on my review yet. Plan for checks at either one, especially before a bigger withdrawal. Stake’s restricted-country list is long, including the UK, US, Australia, France, Spain and Ontario (14.3). Never use a VPN to get around a casino’s restrictions.
Which should you pick?
- Pick Stake if you want the more fully documented score, a named operator with a dispute route, or a deep originals range.
- Pick Wild.io if its published weekly ceiling suits how you play and you’re comfortable with a newer site whose scorecard is still being filled in.
- Pick neither yet if you need a settled licence. Both have a Curaçao assessment in progress.

My verdict
Stake wins this one narrowly, 7.2 to 7.0, and the documentation behind its score is stronger. Wild.io is a genuine alternative rather than a step down, but I’d treat its score as a work in progress until I’ve tested its bonus terms, KYC and support.
