Shuffle vs Roobet: I Tested Both, and One Clause Decides It

Short version: Shuffle scores 6.8/10 and Roobet 6.4/10 under our How We Rate method. On payouts, licence and KYC they score exactly the same. Almost all of the 0.3-point gap comes from one line in Roobet’s terms: “low-risk play” can void winnings.

Both are crypto-first casinos built around originals and frequent rewards, and both appeal to the same crash-and-dice crowd. I tested them the same way: I deposited $100 in BTC, played at small stakes and withdrew in BTC. Both withdrawals arrived within the casino’s stated timeframe, and both tests were confirmed on 15 Oct 2026. Every figure on this page is from my Shuffle review and Roobet review.

The scorecard, in weighted points

Rather than walk through every category, here’s how many points each one adds to the final score. Our method weights payouts at 30%, licence and safety at 20%, bonus terms and games at 15% each, and KYC and support at 10% each. Multiply score by weight and you get each category’s contribution.

Four of the six rows are identical or within a twentieth of a point. The bonus row is worth 0.30 to Shuffle, games add 0.075, and Roobet gets 0.05 back on support. Support is provisional for both because I haven’t tested either support team yet, so don’t read much into that row.

Where they’re the same

Payouts: 6.5 each

Both paid my $100 BTC test withdrawal. Both lose points for the same reason: public complaints about withdrawals being held. With Shuffle the theme is withdrawals held pending KYC. With Roobet it’s a cluster around large withdrawals and source-of-funds checks. Roobet adds a simple rule: each deposit must be wagered 1x before you withdraw. It charges no fee of its own, only the network fee.

Licence and safety: 7.0 each

Each names its operator and holds a Curaçao licence I could match to the register. Shuffle is run by Natural Nine B.V. under OGL/2024/1337/0628. Roobet is run by Raw Entertainment B.V. under OGL/2024/687/0427, granted 31 Jul 2024, and also lists an Anjouan licence. Shuffle loses a little for being a young brand (established 2024) and because buying its SHFL token shares your account data with a separate entity, Eight Dynastic Golden Elephants Ltd.

KYC and account: 5.5 each

Neither publishes a deposit level that triggers ID checks, and both have complaint records built around verification holds. My advice is the same for both: verify your account early, before you need to withdraw. I compare KYC rules across every casino I’ve tested in crypto casino KYC rules compared.

Where they split

Bonus terms: Shuffle 7.0, Roobet 5.0

Neither runs one big match bonus. Shuffle leans on VIP rewards, rakeback and rotating promotions, each with its own terms, and I found no discretionary-void clause. Roobet’s rewards are frequent too, but its terms let “low-risk play” void winnings. That’s a vague, casino-decided test, and our method treats clauses like that as a red flag, so Roobet’s bonus score is held at 5.0. If you use Roobet promos, avoid hedged or minimal-risk betting while they’re active.

Games: Shuffle 8.0, Roobet 7.5

Shuffle lists 15,000+ games including provably fair originals, with sports betting in the same account and wallet. Roobet scores well for crash, originals and a broad casino lobby. If a sportsbook in the same wallet matters to you, Shuffle is the one I can confirm from my review.

The odd part: the review sites disagree

Look at third-party ratings and you’d expect the opposite result. Casino.guru gives Roobet an above-average Safety Index of 7.9 (about 177 complaints all-time, mostly rejected) and Shuffle a low 4.8 with a “bad” complaints ratio (189 in total), though it found no unfair terms at Shuffle. AskGamblers scores Shuffle 5.2/10 with 74 complaints, mostly resolved, and rates Roobet far lower. Trustpilot is no help for either: Shuffle’s rating is hidden after fake reviews were removed, and Roobet’s profile was flagged for fake reviews.

Our score doesn’t borrow any of those numbers. I use complaint records only as evidence of how terms are applied in practice. My own read of the terms is what separates these two, and that’s the low-risk play clause.

Which one fits you?

Shuffle fits if you want casino and sports in one wallet, you like rakeback-style rewards without a vague void clause, and you keep balances small. My review’s “best for” line is crypto players who keep balances small, because of the withdrawal-hold complaints.

Roobet fits if crash is your main game, you like claiming rewards often, and you won’t touch low-risk betting patterns while a promotion is active. Have your documents ready before any large withdrawal.

Neither fits if you want to keep a big balance on site. Both complaint records point the same way on that. If you’d like a higher-scoring alternative to either, see sites like Shuffle, sites like Roobet or the full Best Bitcoin Casinos 2026 ranking.

My verdict

Shuffle wins, 6.8 to 6.4. That isn’t because it paid better or holds a stronger licence, since those scored the same. It’s because its rewards don’t come with a clause that lets the casino decide your play was too “low-risk” to pay. If Roobet removed or clearly defined that clause, most of the gap would close.

On our scores, yes: 6.8/10 against 6.4/10. The difference is mostly bonus terms (7.0 vs 5.0), plus a half-point on games.

Did both casinos pay out in your test?

Yes. Each $100 BTC withdrawal arrived within the casino’s stated timeframe, with both tests confirmed on 15 Oct 2026.

What is Roobet’s low-risk play rule?

Roobet’s terms say low-risk play can void winnings. The rule doesn’t define it precisely, which is why it caps Roobet’s bonus score.

Are Shuffle and Roobet licensed?

Yes. Shuffle holds Curaçao licence OGL/2024/1337/0628 (Natural Nine B.V.). Roobet holds Curaçao licence OGL/2024/687/0427 (Raw Entertainment B.V.) and also lists an Anjouan licence.
