Stake and Roobet are both large, long-running crypto casinos, and on the surface they look alike: in-house originals, rewards and promotions with their own rules, and the same basic rule that a deposit must be wagered 1x before you withdraw. I tested both with $100 in BTC, played at small stakes and withdrew in BTC. Both withdrawals arrived within the stated timeframe. The differences show up in the terms, and they’re why the scores are 7.2 and 6.4. Everything below comes from our Stake review and Roobet review.
| Category (weight) | Stake | Roobet |
|---|---|---|
| Camel Rating | 7.2/10 | 6.4/10 |

| Licence & safety (20%) | 7.5: Medium Rare N.V., CGA licence, CADRE ADR (23.3) | 7.0: Raw Entertainment B.V., CGA licence active, plus Anjouan |
| Bonus terms (15%) | 7.0: per-promotion rules, no discretionary-void clause found | 5.0: “low-risk play” can void winnings |

Payouts and withdrawal rules
Both make you wager each deposit once before cashing out, so neither lets you deposit and withdraw straight back. Roobet charges no withdrawal fee of its own, only the network fee. Stake’s weak spot is clause 8.2: withdrawals can be held during an investigation without an explanation. Roobet’s is the complaint record around large withdrawals and source-of-funds checks. At $100 neither of these touched me, but they matter more as amounts grow. Stake scored 7.0 here, Roobet 6.5.
Bonuses and rewards
This is the biggest gap: 7.0 against 5.0. Stake has no fixed welcome bonus and sets rules per promotion (12.3), unclaimed bonuses lapse after the claim period or 60 days (12.10), and Stake can cancel a bonus at its discretion (12.11), but I found no clause letting it void winnings on vague grounds. Roobet’s rewards each carry their own rules, and its terms let “low-risk play” void winnings. The casino decides what counts as low-risk, so avoid hedged or minimal-risk betting while you’re using a Roobet promo.
Games
Stake scored 8.5 for a large provably fair originals range plus a casino lobby and sportsbook in one account. Roobet scored 7.5 for crash, originals and a broad lobby. If crash is what you came for, Roobet is built around it. If you also want sports betting in the same wallet, Stake does that.
Licence and KYC
Both have a named Curaçao operator. Stake adds an independent dispute route through CADRE (23.3), though the register shows its renewal assessment in progress. Roobet’s CGA licence is active (granted 31 Jul 2024) and it also lists an Anjouan licence. On KYC, Stake can ask for documents at any time and hold withdrawals until you’re verified. Roobet’s recurring complaint theme is source-of-funds holds on big withdrawals. At either, have ID ready before you deposit anything sizeable.
My verdict
Stake wins, 7.2 to 6.4, and it’s ahead in five of six categories (support is level and still provisional at both). The bonus terms are what separate them most. Pick Stake if you want the bigger lobby, sports in the same account and terms without a vague winnings-void clause. Roobet makes sense if crash and frequent rewards are what you’re after and you keep promo play straightforward. Either way, check the restricted-country list first and never use a VPN to get around it.
